Services include construction engineering and inspection services of drainage system cleaning, road restoration, drainage replacement, culvert cleaning/replacement, canal dredging, roadway design and surveying services. (863) 519-2222 Services Performed: Consul- Tech was hired by the Florida Department of Transportation, District 1 to assist in the recovery efforts after the devastation brought by Hurricane Charley, Frances, Jeanne and Wilma to twelve counties in southwest and central Florida covering over 11,700 square miles. Consul-Tech managed the monitoring, documentation and removal of over one million cubic yards of debris. These efforts required the hiring and training of personnel specifically responsible for the debris removal operations and repairs to damaged infrastructure. Additionally, over 160,000 signs were installed and over 300 signalized intersections were repaired. Consul-Tech worked expeditiously in building up workforce that eventually reached a total of 250 qualified technicians and inspectors overseeing the work performed by 20 contractors. We reached out to our partners in the consulting industry, with over 15 firms working with us in this extensive program. In addition, we recruited in excess of 200 temporary employees from the affected areas, training and putting to work as many displaced local workers as were needed to achieve the debris monitoring requirements of more than 15 different debris removal contractors. In summary, the Hurricane Recovery Program included management, inspection and construction management services. 'Pahn ...J t=::i Services Performed: Consul-Tech under contract with Target Engineering assisted to FOOT District 4 during 2004 - 2005 for similar damages caused by Hurricane Wilma, Katrina and Frances on the east coast in Broward, Palm Beach, Indian River and Martin Counties. These efforts required the hiring and training of personnel specifically responsible for the debris removal operations and repairs to damaged infrastructure. As was the case in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, Consul-Tech developed procedures for inspection, recording of the work, tracking and quantifying of work, and full documentation for reimbursements from both the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. In summary, Consul-Tech performed a program management, inspection and construction management services for the Hurricane Recovery Program for six counties in southwest and central Florida.
