6. Staffing Plan

o

Team
Saltz Michelson Architects (SMA) has selected the following TEAM, who will participate on an as-needed basis, to
provide professional architectural and related services for various projects in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The SMA
TEAM selection is based upon each person's extensive relevant experience and is designed to provide the City of
Sunny Isles Beach with comprehensive expertise essential for each project.

Our project approach ensures that your program objectives are met through the following management activities:
coordination and communication, sufficient resources and staff, cost control, schedule control, and quality control. The
focus on these management functions demonstrates our belief that a client's operating costs are as important as their
capital costs.

It has been our firm's experience that close client/consultant relationships lead to successful projects. Therefore, we
place major emphasis on routine and timely communication with the client and with all consultants and agencies
involved in the project. We establish regular review meetings with the client that are documented by memoranda listing
decisions made, actions to be taken, assignments of responsibility for those actions, and pending items. The
documentation that we generate is sent to our clients on a routine basis. We consider communications to be a crucial
management function.

Saltz Michelson Architects assigns a Project Manager to the project Team. This individual is responsible for 1)
coordinating all aspects of the project from design through construction, and 2) keeping the client informed on a
continuing basis. Mr. Sheff Devier, AlA & Mr. Leo Salomon, RA, will be the Project Managers, reporting directly to Mr.
. Charles A. Michelson, Principal-in-Charge. Ms. Frida Dunayer will be assigned the role of Project Architect and report
directly to Mr. Devier and Mr. Salomon. Mr. Michelson will supervise all phases of the scope of work and ensure that
our corporate quality control program is followed. As additional quality control, Mr. Michelson, Mr. Devier and Mr.
Salomon will confer with Mr. Mark L. Saltz, Managing Principal, on a weekly basis regarding project status including
scheduling, budget compliance, and any other key factors that may be of concern.

Current Workload
Current Workload within the office is such that we
will be able to service this proposed open-ended
contract. Specifically, Leo Salomon, RA, Project
Manager, is nearing the end of a YMCA project for
which he is responsible; Frida Dunayer, Project
Architect, has completed the construction
documents for several medical offices for the South
Broward Hospital District.

* Indicates Key Personnel available for your
projects on an "as-needed" basis; their resumes follow.

o

r -_...
..... ....,..

.

..
