TimHaahs is currently serving as the prime designer, providing full architectural and parking design services for this significant new facility. TimHaahs designed the 700 space facility for a future horizontal expansion that would add 300 additional parking spaces. In 2005, the Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority commissioned TimHaahs to design a mixed-use parking structure on the corner of Main and Cherry Streets in Norristown. The parking facility will feature retail frontage along Main Street and serve the surrounding commercial district and nearby Courthouse. The parking structure provided much needed parking for employees and customers of the exclusive Fifth Avenue South Shopping area in addition to supporting the Naples Players Theater located directly adjacent to the facility. The University of Pennsylvania is continuing to develop projects on its campus that will encourage students and employees to consider living on or around its campus. The development of Hamilton Square by the University is one of several projects to satisfy this goal. The Hamilton Square project comprises several components including cinema/theater, retail stores, cafe/restaurant, and a mixed-use parking garage/supermarket. TimHaahs was responsible for the functional design layout, structural engineering, and parking access/revenue control specifications for the parking garage and supermarket.
