<br />who will have direct contact with patrons. The City may request to review documentation of <br />such at any time during the contract term. <br /> <br />C. Foodservice and Sale of Goods <br /> <br />1. At a minimum, the selected Proposer shall provide foodservice at the Restaurant during the <br />regularly scheduled operating hours as approved by the City, and indude breakfast at a <br />minimum on weekends and holidays, lunch and dinner type service, with alcoholic beverage <br />to Pier patrons and the general public seven days a week. The selected Proposer shall be <br />responsible for any and all licenses. <br /> <br />2. The selected Proposer may provide additional services and fees, such as birthday parties, <br />catering, group sales, banquets, etc., only as it does not affect the general operation and <br />operating hours of the restaurant without express written consent by the City, of which <br />consent will not be unreasonably withheld. <br /> <br />3. All services and resale items shall be provided at a price approved by the City. Such <br />services, fees and charges may be modified only by written request of the selected Proposer <br />to the City and approval by the City. Soft goods such as tee-shirts, coffee mugs, hats, etc., <br />would be allowed as a small percentage of goods to be sold. <br /> <br />4. The selected Proposer shall maintain all food service amenities and equipment in a safe and <br />careful manner as outlined in the Minimum Operating Standards for Foodservice (See <br />Attachment "F"). <br /> <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br /> <br />Work will be dosely monitored by City personnel and/or designated representatives. The <br />selected Proposer must cooperate with all monitors representing the City. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall ensure that wherever non-English speaking crews are utilized, at least one <br />crew supervisor must be fluent in English. <br /> <br />1.5 POTENTIAL ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />It is the intent of the City to provide a Restaurant, with the best possible service to the public. <br />The City will assist in the promotion of this Restaurant as an amenity to the Pier. However, the <br />City makes no guarantee that this project will be a financial success for the City or for the <br />selected Proposer. Possible additional services indude operating the fishing Pier and the <br />Bait/Gift Shop located at the Pier entrance. Management of the Pier and collection of admission <br />fees, as well as management of the Bait and Gift Shop are optional, but will be considered in the <br />overall evaluation of the Proposer.
