<br />Q <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest, produced by the City of Sunny Isles Beach in <br />partnership with the Sunny Isles Beach Tourism and Marketing Council, will <br />showcase and highlight the best that the city has to offer including great music, <br />fine dining, exclusive resorts, beautiful beaches and much morel The Jazz Fest's <br />special nonprofit partners, who will get partial event proceeds, are Joshua's <br />Heart Foundation (www.ioshuasheart.ora), which strives to "Stomp out <br />Hunger" by providing necessities such as food and water to individuals in <br />underserved communities and Miami Children's Hospital Foundation <br />(www.mchf.ora), which aims to create awareness, funds and involvement for <br />Miami Children's Hospital through donations and charity fund raising events. <br /> <br />The weekend Festival kicks off on Friday, October 15th from 8:00 to 11 :00 p.m. <br />with a spectacular performance by pianist and composer, Tony Sona at the <br />elegant Jazz Club in Acqualina Resort & Spa, located at 17875 Collins Avenue. <br />Admission is $25. <br /> <br />The festival will continue on Saturday, October 16th, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. with <br />a blazing performance by headlining artist, Ed Calle followed by additional <br />performances by Oriente and Jesse Jones, Jr. at the spectacular Samson <br />Oceanfront Park. All ticket sales are final for this special event. Admission is $15 <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The final event of the Festival is a sumptuous Sunday brunch on Sunday, <br />October 17th from 11 :00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. featuring the soothing sounds of <br />Grammy Nominee, Troy Roberts at the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort, <br />located at 16701 Collins Avenue. Admission is $22.95. <br /> <br />The Jazz Fest is made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County <br />Tourist Development Council, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural <br />Affairs, The Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, Carlos <br />Alvarez, the Board of County Commissioners, Commissioner Sally Heyman, <br />Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Around Town Magazine, <br />Barefoot Wine, Polar Beer, Continental Group, Epicure Market, J. Milton & <br />Associates, Trump International Beach Resort, Newport Beachside Resort and <br />Acqualina Resort. <br /> <br />"The Third Annual Sunny Isles Beach Jazz Fest keeps getting better every <br />yearl" adds Ibis Romero, Executive Director of Sunny Isles Beach Tourism and <br />Marketing Council.
