AshBritt will provide satellite phones and internet service to key management and to City <br />personnel if normal communications are interrupted owing to storm generated damage. <br />· Satellite Dishes. We will also supply mobile, trailer mounted satellite dish communication systems to ensure <br />broad-ban communication capabilities. <br />· Nextel Radios. Our preferred method of communication is Nextel radio service because of their universal <br />application and use. We maintain a large inventory ready for immediate activation. <br />· GPS Units. Senior management and select field personnel will be outfitted with Global Positioning System units <br />to facilitate local orientation and dispatch. <br />· Blackberry Devices. We also employ Blackberry phones and devices to facilitate communications by allowing <br />remote web and email access, as well as two-way radio. <br />· Field Laptops. Our senior and select mangers and personnel are equipped with laptops for document <br />management, email communication, and field reporting and documentation. <br />· High Speed Scanners. Select personnel are equipped with and man Panasonic high speed scanners which are <br />used for a variety of documenting and recordkeeping functions. <br />· Web Based Applications. As soon as internet service can be reestablished to City officials, AshBritt will provide <br />web based reports detailing the evolution of the recovery project. Management reports, production reports, <br />graphs, discrepancy/damage tracking, and truck measurement logs are all provided via the internet. GIS tracking <br />of cleanup progress may also be implemented. <br />· Digital/Polaroid Cameras. Select mangers and field personnel are supplied with digital and/or Polaroid cameras <br />for field work documentation and reporting purposes. <br /> <br />We constantly assess and test new communications technology so to offer our clients the most effective solutions for <br />response and communications, as reliable communication during recovery efforts is vital, especially at the onset. <br /> <br />Resource Database <br />Owing to our own reliance on outside resources, Ash Britt maintains extensive relationships and a comprehensive <br />database of qualified subcontractors including an inventory of their equipment. Our subcontractors hail from all over <br />the United States. We often avail ourselves of their experience and expertise to assist our own forces in conducting <br />recovery operations. It is our practice to establish and maintain standby agreements with applicable specialty <br />subcontractors to ensure an expeditious and comprehensive response for our clients. <br /> <br />Our database also assists us in identifYing local contractors no matter where an event occurs. Through an interface with <br />our main Ash Britt web site-the first of its kind in our industry-it is simple for any subcontractor to register for pre- <br />qualification as an accepted subcontractor. At present we are in the process ofrevamping and improving this vital tool. <br /> <br />AshBritt has over 12,000 registered subcontractors nationwide, of which almost 2,000 hail from the state of Florida. <br />Many have worked directly on AshBritt recovery projects.
