SUBCONTRACTING POLICY It is the policy of TAG Grinding Services, Inc. that all Subcontracting agreements shall include the standard contracting language or at least the following: o 1. All work to be performed shall commence within 24 hours of notification. 2. TAG Grinding Services, Inc. will give local subcontractors preference for employment during disaster recovery projects. 3. In the event a subcontractor fails to start the project within 24 hours or is unable to supply adequate personnel or materials to the satisfaction of the contracting entity or TAG Grinding Services, Inc., then TAG Grinding Services, Inc. may terminate the contract. 4. TAG Grinding Services, Inc. will pay the subcontractor weekly on Friday for all work performed the week prior. A retainage of 10% will be withheld until completion of the project and release of all funds to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. 5. Prior to beginning work on the project, all subcontractors will provide the required insurance from a responsible insurer and provide proof to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. 6. All applicable State, Federal, and Local Safety Regulations are to be observed and enforced by subcontractor at all times. Failure to do so could result in termination of the contract. 7. Subcontractor shall not assign the Subcontract without written permission from TAG Grinding Services, Inc. 8. Subcontractor will provide periodic progress reports to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. as mutually agreed.. 9. Subcontractor shall pay for all materials, equipment, and labor used in, or in connection with, the performance of this Subcontract. 10. Subcontractor shall give all notices and comply with all Federal, State, and Local tax laws, social security acts, unemployment compensation acts, and workers' compensation acts. insofar as applicable to the performance of this Subcontract. 11. Subcontractor shall take all reasonable safety precautions and comply with all safety measures in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and orders of any public authority. 12. Subcontractor shall promptly notify TAG Grinding Services, Inc. of all claims for additional cost, extensions of time, damages for delays or other causes in accordance with Subcontract Agreement. 13. Subcontractor shall indemnify and hold harmless Owner, Architect/Engineer and TAG Grinding Services, Inc. and all their agents and employees from and against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses including, but not limited to, attorney's fees arising out of or resulting from the performance of Subcontractor's work under this Subcontract, to the fullest extent permitted by law. 14. Subcontractor will be responsible for all damages he causes to private or public properties. o
