<br />o <br /> <br />..,., ..,., <br />...., TAG ...., <br />GRINDING SERVICES, INC. <br /> <br />SUBCONTRACTING POLICY <br /> <br />It is the policy of TAG Grinding Services, Inc. that all Subcontracting agreements shall include <br />the standard contracting language or at least the following: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />1. All work to be performed shall commence within 24 hours of notification. <br />2. TAG Grinding Services, Inc. will give local subcontractors preference for employment <br />during disaster recovery projects. <br />3. In the event a subcontractor fails to start the project within 24 hours or is unable to <br />supply adequate personnel or materials to the satisfaction of the contracting entity or <br />TAG Grinding Services, Inc., then TAG Grinding Services, Inc. may terminate the <br />contract. <br />4. TAG Grinding Services, Inc. will pay the subcontractor weekly on Friday for all work <br />performed the week prior. A retainage of 10% will be withheld until completion of the <br />project and release of all funds to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. <br />5. Prior to beginning work on the project, all subcontractors will provide the required <br />insurance from a responsible insurer and provide proof to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. <br />6. All applicable State, Federal, and Local Safety Regulations are to be observed and <br />enforced by subcontractor at all times. Failure to do so could result in termination of the <br />contract. <br />7. Subcontractor shall not assign the Subcontract without written permission from TAG <br />Grinding Services, Inc. <br />8. Subcontractor will provide periodic progress reports to TAG Grinding Services, Inc. as <br />mutually agreed.. <br />9. Subcontractor shall pay for all materials, equipment, and labor used in, or in connection <br />with, the performance of this Subcontract. <br />10. Subcontractor shall give all notices and comply with all Federal, State, and Local tax <br />laws, social security acts, unemployment compensation acts, and workers' compensation <br />acts. insofar as applicable to the performance of this Subcontract. <br />11. Subcontractor shall take all reasonable safety precautions and comply with all safety <br />measures in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and orders of any <br />public authority. <br />12. Subcontractor shall promptly notify TAG Grinding Services, Inc. of all claims for <br />additional cost, extensions of time, damages for delays or other causes in accordance <br />with Subcontract Agreement. <br />13. Subcontractor shall indemnify and hold harmless Owner, Architect/Engineer and TAG <br />Grinding Services, Inc. and all their agents and employees from and against all claims, <br />damages, losses, and expenses including, but not limited to, attorney's fees arising out <br />of or resulting from the performance of Subcontractor's work under this Subcontract, to <br />the fullest extent permitted by law. <br />14. Subcontractor will be responsible for all damages he causes to private or public <br />properties. <br /> <br />o <br />
