<br />o <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Q <br /> <br />DRC will direct all loading operations through its project managers, quality control managers, <br />supervisors and primary subcontractor supervisors. Infonnation and examples will be distributed <br />to all crew loading operations. <br /> <br />Copies of the Manuel on Unifonn Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) will be available for all <br />DRC Loading crews at our local office or command center. Haul out loading will be specifically <br />addressed for quality control in the site specific QC and Safety plan once the site is selected. <br /> <br />Unloading of Trucks <br /> <br />Unloading of various debris at the temporary debris storage site (TDSRS) and final disposals <br />area shall be monitored for quality control through DRC Dumps site managers and Dump site <br />QC managers. <br /> <br />Items of concern are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Waste pile management (HHW, C&D, Vegetative) <br />2. Proper construction and maintenance of containment areas <br />3. Site Safety <br />4. Site ingress and egress <br />5. Traffic flow control <br />6. Reduction management unloading of trucks <br />7. Inspection Tower <br /> <br />The inspection towers at the unloading sites are key to quality control of the unloading <br />operation. All trucks are inspected for loads coming into the site and monitored for empty trucks <br />leaving the dump site. This monitoring activity helps ensure the validity, safety and quality of <br />this operation. The tower shall be constructed in accordance with GOVERNMENT guidelines <br />and positioned in such a manor to allow trucks to safely exist the roadway and line up for load <br />verification. The tower shall be positioned at a minimum 300' from the entry point in any site. <br /> <br />It is key to quality control at any unloading site to mange trucks entering, waiting and exiting the <br />site. This will ensure a safe site and help maintain a high level of production along with <br />reducing environmental risks associated with unloading of debris. Quality control will be <br />achieved through on site management, daily meetings, specific plans and the implementation of <br />these plans. <br /> <br />TRACKING OF HOURLY RATE TASKS <br /> <br />DRC has in place the staff and procedures to accurately and efficiently handle the tracking of <br />hourly rate task and documentation. The quality control of such documents begins in the field. <br />The data will be collected with direct supervision from DRC; all trucks and equipment will be <br />monitored while any work is taken place. <br /> <br />63 <br />
