<br />- <br /> <br />o Segregation of Debris <br /> <br />If differing types of debris are commingled and or not previously segregated by property owners, <br />debris segregation must be accomplished before debris removal can take place. For this purpose, <br />ORC will deploy debris segregation crews. Typical ORC segregation crews will include 1 <br />foreman, 3 laborers, and I Bobcat loader with grapple. <br /> <br />Proper segregation will place each type of debris listed above in its own discrete aggregation, <br />safely out of roads, streets, sidewalks, and other means of travel, but still aggregated on public <br />rights of way and easements, easily accessible to removal vehicles and crews, and clear of <br />private property. <br /> <br />Right of Wav Clearing <br /> <br />Within 24 hours of Task Order Notice to Proceed, ORC will commence debris removal <br />operations with 5 or more Debris Removal Crews. Debris Removal Crews will typically consist <br />of 5 dump trucks of 16-20 cubic yard capacity with operators, 1 front end loader with operator, 1 <br />foreman, and 3 laborerslflagmen. As necessary or directed by the GOVERNMENT, crews will <br />be augmented by equipment and personnel detailed below in order to accomplish removal of <br />specific types of debris. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Major debris types and specialized requirements are detailed below. <br /> <br />A. Vegetative Debris <br /> <br />Vegetative debris operations equipment may include, but is not limited to: rubber tired loaders <br />with buckets, rakes, grapples, or 4 in 1 buckets; rubber tired excavators with grapples or thumbs; <br />telehandlers; track type loaders with rakes, grapples or 4 in 1 buckets (to be utilized only under <br />certain pennitted conditions); trailer or truck mounted knuckle booms with grapples or clam <br />shells; self-loading trucks (knuckle boom with grapples or clam shells); fann type tractors with <br />box blades, flat blades or brooms; bobcat type loaders; bucket trucks with 50' booms for <br />hazardous tree and limb trimming; 30 ton or larger cranes to remove heavy stumps and or trunks; <br />haul trucks ranging in size from 16 to 120 cubic yard capacity; roll-off dumpsters; flat-bed <br />tractor trailers to transport equipment or stumps and oversized tree trunks, fuel and service <br />trucks. <br /> <br />Vegetative debris operations personnel requirements may include, but are not limited to, <br />equipment operators; superintendents with trucks; foremen with trucks; operators with <br />chainsaws; traffic control personnel; general laborers with tools; safety personnel; mechanics; <br />hazardous materials technicians; documentation personnel; quality assurance personnel and <br />project managers. <br /> <br />It is the policy of ORC to maintain all debris work sites at the appropriate use standards, safety <br />standards, and regulatory requirements. Debris removal operations should be closely overseen <br />C by GOVERNMENT or GOVERNMENT-approved representative and/or foreman on-site during <br /> <br />25 <br />
