Vegetative debris (stumps, logs and limbs) <br />2. Construction and demolition (C&D) debris <br />3. Metallic debris <br />4. White goods (refrigerators, air conditioners, washers and dryers, etc.) <br />5. Electronics <br />6. Household Garbage <br />7. Hazardous and toxic wastes (HTW) (industrial, commercial and household) <br />8. Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) <br /> <br />The equipment and personnel utilized for each operational phase will vary by the type, quantity <br />and location and proposed disposal and/or reduction method of the debris. In all operations, <br />regardless of type of debris, appropriate personal protective equipment for personnel is critical <br />and will be employed. <br /> <br />ORC will cover loads with tarpaulins to contain debris. <br /> <br />Crew Dispatch <br />Crews will be staged and dispatched according to GOVERNMENT direction and pnontIes. <br />Daily meetings between DRC and the GOVERNMENT will establish sectional and zonal <br />priorities which, in turn, will be communicated to centrally staged foremen and crews. Progress <br />will be monitored and reported on a daily basis through DRC's Area Management Program. <br />Additional passes through each zone and section will be staged to allow residents the time to <br />bring debris to the ROW. <br /> <br />ORC will also utilize a Hot Spot Crew for rapid deployment to areas of need. The Hot Spot <br />Crew will consist of 2 laborers/flagmen and one sawman, one foreman, and one self-loader or <br />knuckleboom loader. <br /> <br />ORC Debris Removal Crews will work daylight hours only, 7 days a week. All trucks and <br />equipment used for debris removal will be in compliance with all local, state, and federal <br />requirements. All equipment used to haul debris will be mechanically loaded and equipped with <br />a tailgate that will contain debris during transport and facilitate effective dumping at the debris <br />management site. <br /> <br />Beginning during Mobilization, trucks and trailers used for the purpose of transporting debris <br />will be measured by the GOVERNMENT or representative thereof. DRC will provide <br />appropriate measurement forms as specified. <br /> <br />At the Staging Area, Safety Officers will inspect all equipment before allowing it to be <br />mobilized. A Safety Report on equipment, personnel, and PPE will be provided to the <br />GOVERNMENT. <br /> <br />24 <br />
