<br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />'0 <br />I <br /> <br />MAINTENANCE/FUEL VEHICLES AND PERSONNEL - Maintenance/fuel vehicles will be <br />assigned and manned as needed to provide an adequate supply of fuel to maintain equipment <br />operations. Maintenance/fuel vehicles will be assigned and manned as needed to provide all <br />required field maintenance to ensure equipment operations. <br /> <br />LABOR CREW - 1 or 2 laborers with sufficient hand tools will accompany each piece of heavy <br />equipment. <br /> <br />OPERA TIONS <br /> <br />. Clear debris from roads in the order of and number of lanes as tasked by <br />GOVERNMENT. <br />. Clear debris from parking lots, areas of ingress and egress and any other area of hospitals, <br />shelters, emergency operations center, etc. as tasked by the GOVERNMENT. <br />. The priority of this operation is to clear the debris. <br />. Operators and hand crews will be instructed to perform in a workman like manner to <br />prevent damage to salvageable and/or undamaged property and prevent personal injury to <br />ensure compliance with the Corporate Accident Prevention Plan as part of the Corporate <br />Safety Plan. <br />. Attempt to make roadways and intersections as safe as possible from sight and traffic <br />obstructions to ensure compliance with the Accident Prevention Plan and Site Specific <br />Safety Plan. <br />. All supervisors will maintain personnel and equipment hours on a per day basis. <br /> <br />DEBRIS REMOVAL (LOAD AND HAUL) <br /> <br />OPERA TIONS - All debris will be picked up and loaded into haul trucks in a safe and <br />workman-like manner to ensure compliance with the Corporate Accident Prevention Plan as part <br />of the Corporate Safety Plan. Safety will not be compromised. All crew foreman and field <br />supervisors will be responsible to ensure a rapid and cost effective as possible operation. Hand <br />crews, to ensure maximum loading and safe transport of material, will size all vegetative debris. <br />All construction and demolition materials will be sized using heavy equipment to ensure <br />maximum loading and safe transport of materials within EP A and DOT standards. Obvious <br />hazardous materials will be dealt with in accordance with the Government task order and the <br />Corporate Environmental Protection Plan and in compliance with the Corporate Accident <br />Prevention Plan as part of the Corporate Safety Plan. Traffic control personnel, with appropriate <br />traffic control safety equipment, will be stationed at each approach point of the work area to <br />maintain traffic control and prevent personal injury to ensure compliance with the Corporate <br />Accident Prevention Plan as part of the Corporate Safety Plan. Additional traffic control <br />personnel will be stationed throughout the area, as needed, to ensure safe operations. <br /> <br />This operation specifically entails the recovery and removal (pick-up and hauling) of all eligible <br />debris from public easements, property and rights-of-way to designated Debris Management <br />Sites and/or directly to a final disposal site.
