~~ !!!s!~!~!:'

3, Change Stairs from Steel to Concrete (recommended) - Haskell proposed
to change the metal stairs to cast in place concrete. This will be more
durable and corrosion resistant. Deduct $15,000

4, Redesign Route of Entry Road -If selected, Haskell will complete the
design work necessary to re-route the garage entry road to the west at no
additional charQe,

5. Delete Vine Trainer System - (not recommended) Deduct $110,000

6. Delete Fiberglass Mesh and Support (recommended) - Haskell
recommends deleting the fiberglass mesh and allowing us to work with you
and Spillis Candela to select a more cost effective solution. We suggest, and
our deduct includes, a $100,000 allowance for a new system. Deduct
$250,000

7. Smooth Stucco Finish for Exterior of Stair Towers (recommended)-
Haskell recommends adding a stucco finish to the CMU facing the exterior of
the building at the stair towers. This will significantly improve their
appearance from the street. Add $75,000

8. Eliminate Paint in stairwells (recommended) - This is most often not done
in parking garage projects, The advantage is obviously saving the initial cost,
but also reduces maintenance. Deduct $7,400

9. Eliminate TexCoat on Structure (recommended) - Since the structure will
be hidden behind the vines, Big V's and mesh, this seems unnecessary and
adds maintenance cost. Deduct $55,242

10. Metal Cladding to Big V's (not recommended) - ADD $750,000 for 3-sides,
Add $975,000 for all four sides.

Note: Haskell examined the option of converting the garage to pre-cast concrete;
however there was an increase in cost. Therefore, we are not suggesting a change in
the structural system,

CLARIFICATIONS:

1. All prices are firm, fixed, lump sum prices,
2, We do not include the cost resulting from any unforeseen underground
obstructions or conditions,
3. Our recommended price includes all the alternates above indicated to be
(recommended).
4. All demo carried in Phase 1 price
5. We do not include asbestos abatement or hazardous material of any kind,
6. We have included 100' deep drainage wells, Additional depth if required will be
an add of $300/LF
7. Phase 1 price does not include landscaping or irrigation of any kind
