As MCM develops this schedule we will focus on t~e early delivery of the Garage in Phase 1 to allow CSIB Publi~ Works Dept. to vacate their current staging area in the footprint of the new Park. This early delivery milestone will a!~o allow the. ~ity to benefit from the use of the garage by Citizens and VIsitors while the Park is completed. Overall ~he Project delivery schedule will provide the Garage for use ~n February, provided we commence in July. As the garage IS constructed the utilities in the right of way serving the g~rage and park will be installed. Also MCM will begin work. In the Park. concurrently with the garage wherever ~os~lble, perf~rmlng earthwork, installing drainage, site lighting conduits, foundations and other improvements all co~rdinated with ~he Public Works Dept. to assure there'are no Impacts to their operations. This approach will provide the City the early use of the Garage and delivery of the Park prior to their May deadline. ~ STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS MATERIAL PROCUREMENT MCM has learned that the best approach to material pro.c~rement ~s to centralize it's purchasing rather than allow indiVidual projects to Sub-contract the project. This allows a team of trained procurement agents who have reviewed and understand the project specifications to buy only materials specified for the project. T~is approach. also allows the procurementteam to repeatedly price from a wide array of vendors, and establishes a network of competitive pricing allowing us to secure the best rates for specified materials and equipment on behalf of our Clients. 1.5.9 STATEMENT OF EXPERIENCE EXPERIENCE WITH CM-AT-RISK METHOD M.CM is very familiar with the Construction Management at Risk methodology. Over the last few years we have been able to save our Clients millions of dollars in Construction and Maintenance costs through our Value Engineering, Constructability Reviews and Coordination efforts.
