SECTION 7: PROJECT EXPERIENCE Turner Construction Company is pleased to submit our experience for your consideration for the construction of the Heritage Park Parking Garage project. Turner finished its first building in South Florida in 1910. We are proud of our projects, our relationships and long term commitment to our community. Parking Garage project experience: Turner has considerable experience building state of the art parking facilities. That expe- rience brings considerable "lessons learned" to this project, and will afford us the opportunity to build yet another successful project in South Florida. We know it is imperative that our construction site create the least amount of disturbance possible for the surrounding community. We also know that close coordination with the facilities and public works staff allows us to work in concert with the experts who know your city best. Our current experience at the Miami Intermodal Center, which includes a 7,000 car parking center, and our team's knowledge of the local subcontractor market will help steer us through both the pre- construction and construction phases with the most competitive results. . Understanding the local market: One of the most critical components to any project is finishing on-time. We know that the timing of the opening of this facility dramatically impacts who will use this facility. Turner's expertise in the local market and understanding labor and material availability will be crucial to delivering your project. We have named a project team for the project who has experience not only in South Florida, but on relevant garage projects. Carlos Casal, Project Executive, T J Mincer, Project Superintendent, and Manny Coya, Garage Superintendent are currently working together right now on the largest garage project in the Southeast. Their knowledge of this project type and the local market will move this project forward. Carlos Casal, has significant experience working with public clients and the local market knowledge, which enhances Turner's ability to provide cost-effective and time-efficient solutions to the construction of the project. Ken Oates, our Preconstruction Manager, has been working in the Turner Miami office for almost 30 years. His clear understanding of the local market means the project will receive preconstruction phase services that focuses on generating the maximum value to City of Sunny Isles Beach.
