<br />STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS <br /> <br />each of these proposed team members has specific <br />expcricnce in these roles with parking garages. These <br />pcrsonnel have been chosen for their expertise with these <br />typcs of projects. <br /> <br />Terry Butler - Chief Estimator - Tcrry will provide <br />a resource for all aspects of preconstruction <br />assistance for the Projcct Coordinator and other <br />team members. <br /> <br />Sean Sweeney - Project Director - Thc Project <br />Director is responsible for the overall coordination <br />and pcrformance of all team members and will be <br />thc primary point of contact for the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach. Hc is responsible for cstimating and <br />budget preparation, value enginccring, project <br />management, cost, quality and schedule controls, <br />and coordination of all field forccs, subcontractors <br />and material suppliers. Thc Project Director will <br />work closely with the City of Sunny Isles Bcach and <br />the architcct to maintain projcct tcam relationship <br />and produce a successful, high-quality product. <br /> <br />Matt Long - Project Manager - Matt Long will <br />serve as thc Project Coordinator and the primary <br />leadcr of the Brasfield & Gorrie team for all <br />preconstruction and construction services. Thc <br />Project Manager will coordinate all project <br />functions including estimating, value engineering, <br />constructability reviews, projcct operations and <br />managcment, scheduling, cost control, quality <br />control and safety. <br /> <br />Carey Duell - Supcrintcndcnt - Carey will be <br />rcsponsible for building thc projcct in conformance <br />with contract documcnts, maintaining a safe <br />workplace, meeting the project schcdulc, field <br />purchases and leasing, as well as supervising all <br />Brasfield & Gorrie field employees. <br /> <br />1.7. Description of recent project cxperience, <br />including projects of similar size, and clicnt <br />refercncc with contact information. <br /> <br />Please see section 3 for our recent project <br />experIcnce. <br /> <br />1.8. Evidence of capabilities for construction <br />scheduling, matcrial procurement, and assurance <br />that plans, spccifications, and schedules arc met. <br /> <br />Schedulc control is a major component of cost <br />control, as cxtended job schedules have a major <br />cost impact. We pride ourselves on the ability to <br />move a project along fast, and we use a variety of <br />techniques, including CPM and sophisticated bar <br />chart methods, to facilitate this proccss. <br />The following proccdures will be undertaken to <br />cstablish and control the project schedule: <br /> <br />~ Develop a time scaled precedence type bar chart <br />schedule in both preliminary and final form, in <br />conjunction with the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />and/or the architects and all subcontractors. <br />Ample time will be provided for review and <br />reevaluation of preliminary and final drafts of thc <br />schedule. <br /> <br />~ Develop detailed near-term schedules on a bi- <br />weekly basis to monitor construction activities and <br />to reschedule as required those activities anticipated <br />within the next four-to-six-week period. <br /> <br />~ Conduct project coordination meetings throughout <br />the construction period to evaluate construction <br />progress relative to the overall project schedule. <br />These meetings will include Brasfield & Gorrie <br />personnel, City of Sunny Isles Beach and all <br />active or near active subcontractors. <br /> <br />The control of the schedule is thc joint <br />responsibility of the project manager and the <br />superintendent. <br /> <br />PROCU REM ENT <br />For material and subcontract items, Brasficld & <br />Gorrie will obtain bid quotations from a minimum <br />of three qualified contractors or vendors. Thesc bids <br />will bc received, analyzed and a recommendation <br />for award will bc made to the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach. Upon award of each work activity, we will <br />issue a subcontract or material purchase order that <br />ensures compliance with all applicable terms and <br />conditions of the project, including bonding and <br />insurance.
