STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS each of these proposed team members has specific expcricnce in these roles with parking garages. These pcrsonnel have been chosen for their expertise with these typcs of projects. Terry Butler - Chief Estimator - Tcrry will provide a resource for all aspects of preconstruction assistance for the Projcct Coordinator and other team members. Sean Sweeney - Project Director - Thc Project Director is responsible for the overall coordination and pcrformance of all team members and will be thc primary point of contact for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Hc is responsible for cstimating and budget preparation, value enginccring, project management, cost, quality and schedule controls, and coordination of all field forccs, subcontractors and material suppliers. Thc Project Director will work closely with the City of Sunny Isles Bcach and the architcct to maintain projcct tcam relationship and produce a successful, high-quality product. Matt Long - Project Manager - Matt Long will serve as thc Project Coordinator and the primary leadcr of the Brasfield & Gorrie team for all preconstruction and construction services. Thc Project Manager will coordinate all project functions including estimating, value engineering, constructability reviews, projcct operations and managcment, scheduling, cost control, quality control and safety. Carey Duell - Supcrintcndcnt - Carey will be rcsponsible for building thc projcct in conformance with contract documcnts, maintaining a safe workplace, meeting the project schcdulc, field purchases and leasing, as well as supervising all Brasfield & Gorrie field employees. 1.7. Description of recent project cxperience, including projects of similar size, and clicnt refercncc with contact information. Please see section 3 for our recent project experIcnce. 1.8. Evidence of capabilities for construction scheduling, matcrial procurement, and assurance that plans, spccifications, and schedules arc met. Schedulc control is a major component of cost control, as cxtended job schedules have a major cost impact. We pride ourselves on the ability to move a project along fast, and we use a variety of techniques, including CPM and sophisticated bar chart methods, to facilitate this proccss. The following proccdures will be undertaken to cstablish and control the project schedule: ~ Develop a time scaled precedence type bar chart schedule in both preliminary and final form, in conjunction with the City of Sunny Isles Beach and/or the architects and all subcontractors. Ample time will be provided for review and reevaluation of preliminary and final drafts of thc schedule. ~ Develop detailed near-term schedules on a bi- weekly basis to monitor construction activities and to reschedule as required those activities anticipated within the next four-to-six-week period. ~ Conduct project coordination meetings throughout the construction period to evaluate construction progress relative to the overall project schedule. These meetings will include Brasfield & Gorrie personnel, City of Sunny Isles Beach and all active or near active subcontractors. The control of the schedule is thc joint responsibility of the project manager and the superintendent. PROCU REM ENT For material and subcontract items, Brasficld & Gorrie will obtain bid quotations from a minimum of three qualified contractors or vendors. Thesc bids will bc received, analyzed and a recommendation for award will bc made to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Upon award of each work activity, we will issue a subcontract or material purchase order that ensures compliance with all applicable terms and conditions of the project, including bonding and insurance.
