<br />7) Accumulated Sick Leave: <br />a) Employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may accumulate a <br />maximum of up to 1,200 hours. Upon termination of employment, <br />eligible employees will receive compensation tor a percentage of <br />unused accumulated SIck leave as follows: <br /> <br /> % of unused <br />Employee Length of service accumulated sick <br /> leave to be paid <br /> out <br />Exempt Any 75% <br />Non-Exempt 20 or more years of service 75% <br />Non-Exempt 10 or more years of service 50% <br />Non-Exempt 5 or more years of service 25% <br />Non-Exempt 3 or more years of service 10% <br /> <br />b) At the end of each calendar year, typically in December, or at <br />separation, any banked sick leave above the previous year's <br />banked amount will be calculated, by the Finance Department, at <br />the employee's rate of pay in effect at the time the sick leave was <br />earned or accumulated. <br /> <br />FORMS: <br /> <br />Time Off Request/Report Form (HRD) <br /> <br />703_1 sick leave <br /> <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />
