<br />ARCHITECTURE I ENGINEERING: CONNELLY & WICKER INC. <br /> <br />Connelly & Wicker Inc. is a Jacksonville, Florida based multi-discipline firm providing professional services in <br />both the public and private sectors of land development since 1983. We currently have 21 employees including <br />12 registered Professional's with experience in planning, engineering, and landscape architecture. Seventy per- <br />cent of the company staff is located in Jacksonville.Approximately 70% of our business is derived from projects <br />for various federal, state and local municipal agencies.We also have a balanced portion of projects serving the <br />land development industry.We work in concert with developers, contractors, and architects as well as their <br />construction management teams providing comprehensive surveying, land planning, landscape architecture and <br />engineering services for municipal, educational, retail, institutional, industrial and office commercial projects as <br />well as single and multi-family residential development endeavors. <br /> <br />Our Project Managers are familiar with the policies and procedures of various Florida and Georgia agencies. <br />Having served the development industry for over 25 years, our professionals have successfully seen many sets <br />of engineering plans and permit submittals through the approval process. In Florida our Project Managers have <br />coordinated with the St.Johns RiverWater Management District (SJRWMD), the Florida Department of Envi- <br />ronmental Protection (FDEP), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Florida Department <br />of Transportation (FDOT). In Georgia, our Project Managers have coordinated with the Metro Atlanta County <br />and City Regulatory Agencies including the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission. The skate park is located on 5 acres of the existing Ed Austin Regional Park. The skate park is a total <br />approximately 20,000 sf. Phase I of the skate park will contains 8,000 sf and is mostly an urban street plaza style <br />park, while the remaining is a mix of urban and traditional skate park design with a small bowl. Connelly & <br />Wicker was responsible for the master planning of the overall 5 acres and assisted in the placement of the skate <br />park within the overall site. CWI coordinated all permitting through St. Johns River Water Management District <br />and the City of Jacksonville. Landscape design, hardscape design, and engineering components were also managed <br />by CWI. The engineering consisted of all grading, sewer, and stormwater design. <br /> <br /> <br />5 <br />
