. Unwanted individuals around the school

Implementation of Access Control Structure

Bayus Security Services recognizes the importance of controlling children crossing at various
intersections and in efforts to ensure the highest level of security. Bayus security personnel
assigned will be informed of this function importance. Bayus crossing guard officers will spend
a great amount of time and efforts working towards this mission, Bayus' approach will be to
ensure that all points, both egress and ingress to schools, have assigned guards at time requested.
Furthermore, suspicious persons will be immediately reported to the authority.

At Bayus Security Services continuous monitoring and supervision of the crossing area is one of
the most important duties of a School Crossing Guard. At Bayus, school crossing guard means
more than assisting children/adults crossing the roads, it means observing,

Before starting the day, we require that each crossing guard check their equipment. They should
have a notebook and a pen or pencil, a flashlight, if at night (in case of change in weather) they
should not carry any unauthorized weapons and should have a heavy coat or raincoat, if the
weather requires it. School crossing guards should be familiar with the entire crossing area.

A Bayus school crossing guard should know the vulnerability of the area, if any. They are also
expected to know the quickest route from any point in the area to any other point in the area, in
order to assist the children in case of emergency.

Finally, a Bayus school crossing guard should possess the intuitiveness and common sense to
recognize an emergency when it arises, and to act promptly and properly.

If post orders require "periodic call in" during the shift, crossing guards must make certain that
they will be back to the phone or that there will be a phone at their possession,

Cooperation of Guards and Vehicular Traffic

Crossing Guards shall not direct traffic in the usual regulatory sense, At unsignalized locations,
guards select opportune times to use or create sufficient gaps in traffic flow, i.e., extend selected
gaps as necessary, obligating the drivers to yield the right of way, so that children have time to
complete their crossings. At signalized locations, guards use the signal intervals that allow time
for pedestrian crossing.

Management Controls and Supervisory Inspection Systems

Bayus Security recognizes that a significant percentage of this contract is related to direct labor
or personnel. The efficient administration and management of personnel, therefore, is dependent
upon reliable information and controls. Bayus plans to administer the project for the school
crossing based on a personnel management control and supervisory inspections that take into
account a full understanding of the local labor laws and the policies to recruit and retain highly
qualified professional school crossing guard force.

Management controls will be designed to stimulate discussions about how best to stay focus in
achieving the very purpose of school crossing guard directing, training, supporting and

26
