<br />STANDARD OF CONDUCT <br /> <br />GENERAL ORDERS <br />As a Bayus Crossing Guard Officer, it is your duty and responsibility to: <br /> <br />A. Take charge of your post, be alert and awake at all times, protect life and property <br />when endangered. <br /> <br />B. Work your post in an alert, courteous and disciplined manner by observing <br />everything that takes place within sight or hearing. <br /> <br />C. Know your client's post orders and report all security violations, safety violations, <br />and fire hazards. <br /> <br />D. Never leave your post unless properly relieved. <br /> <br />E. Receive, obey, and pass on to the guard who relieves you, and all orders from <br />your supervisor and the client representative. <br /> <br />F. Limit your conversations while on duty, avoid casual conversations which may <br />distract you. <br /> <br />G. Give alarm and notify the proper authorities in case of fire, intrusion, or disorder. <br /> <br />H. Call your supervisor regarding any incident not covered by the Bayus security <br />general orders or by your post orders. <br /> <br />1. Be especially watchful at night, challenging and identifying all persons on or near <br />your post. <br /> <br />1. Maintain the logbook as a permanent record of all violations or security fire <br />safety, client regulations or usual incidents. <br /> <br />K. Be neat, clean, well groomed, and properly uniformed at all times while on duty, <br /> <br />33 <br />
