<br />The work envisioned includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: <br /> <br />1. Design review and recommendations <br />2. Prestressed and auger cast pile installation, logging, and certification of install <br />3. Certification of fabricated prestressed piles <br />4. Vibration monitoring in accordance to FDOT standards <br />5. Settlement surveys in accordance to FDOT standards <br />6. Conducting soil borings, cone penetrometer soundings, flat plate dilatometer sounds and <br />other field exploration testing on land and from a barge-mounted platform. <br />7. Conducting laboratory testing on soil samples obtained from field investigations. These <br />tests may include testing for classification, strength (triaxial compression, unconfined <br />compression, and direct shear) compressibility, and permeability. <br />8. Providing geotechnical evaluation and design services including axial and lateral capacity <br />of piles, stability of bulkheads and sea walls, foundation analysis for terminal, pier and <br />wharf structures, stability of dikes and slopes, evaluation of dredged spoil disposal and <br />surcharging of soft clay deposits. <br />9. Conducting field and laboratory testing of construction materials which may include <br />concrete, grout, soils, aggregates, and asphalt and others as listed below: <br /> <br />. Fill Compaction <br />. Compression testing <br />. Reinforcing Steel <br />· Concrete sampling <br />· CMU Placement and Sampling <br />· Structural Steel <br />· Masonry <br />· Grout and Mortar <br />. Epoxy & Expansion Anchors <br />. Expansion Bolt Pull Testing <br />· Footing Excavation <br />· Pile/Pier Installation <br />· Reinforcement Placement <br />· Concrete Placement <br />· Site Grading Observations <br />. Soil and Paving Compaction Testing <br />· Marshall D1559 for Asphalt <br />. D1557 for Base Material <br />· Welding Including any NDT Requirements <br />· Field Welding <br />· High Strength Bolting <br />· Masonry Placement & Grouting <br />. Shear Stud Installation <br />.
