<br />c <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach: Special Inspection Services <br />RFQ No. 11-07-11 <br /> <br />5.10 SAFETY COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />URS understands that for a project to be successful it must be completed without injury to any <br />member of the construction team (CITY, CEI and Contractor) or any customer. URS also understands <br />that it is not the responsibility of the construction management to enforce the Contractor's safety program; <br />however, it is URS policy that all construction team members shall work in a safe environment. If <br />necessary, we will refrain from putting our team members in construction environments where serious <br />safety concerns or issues exist. We will partner with the Contractor to discuss safety concerns at our <br />weekly meetings. URS will take care to guard against any unsafe conditions that might threaten motorists <br />and pedestrians who continue to use the facilities during construction. URS will bring such conditions to the <br />attention of those responsible for their resolution in a timely manner.
