The design included over 17.5 miles of 8' - 10' high levees and 17 <br />gated flow control RCB Culverts to impound and direct stormwater <br />through 6500 acres of manmade filtering wetlands constructed over the <br />Everglade peats. Directed field geotechnical investigation programs and <br />designs including over 100 borings. Directed Civil construction plans and <br />specifications and provided construction phase engineering support. <br /> <br />c <br /> <br />Principal In Charge and Lead Geotechnical Consultant, <br />Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Projects (CERP) - Biscayne <br />Bay Coastal Wetlands (BBCW) Phase I projects including Deering <br />Estates and Cutler Coastal Wetlands Flow Ways, Dade Co. FI.. <br />(2005 -Present). The Deering Flow Way includes 1/4 mile of extended <br />canal to a new 100 cfs Pumping station and the Cutler project includes <br />1.32 miles of above ground levee and concrete lined Flow Way. Directed <br />field geotechnical investigation programs and designs for the projects <br />including over 50 borings. Overviewed Civil construction plans and <br />specifications. <br />
