<br />the bascule span. The east side approaches consist of a five span unit with
<br />spans of 39.0m, 36.570m, 31.045m, 25.175m, and I8.738m. The total
<br />length of each bridge is 332.641m. l\fr. Polo began as the Roadway
<br />Project Manager and his duties included inspection of roadways, drainage,
<br />and lighting. He was promoted to Senior Project Engineer and was
<br />assisted with the final estimate package and closing out the job.

<br />Beach County, Florida (04/03-03/04): Responsible for the
<br />reconstruction and milling and resurfacing of Royal Palm \V'ay in the town
<br />of Palm Beach. Project includes new roadway construction, drainage
<br />system, geogrid placement, composite base, milling and resurfacing,
<br />superpave asphalt, friction course, parking lot, hardscape/landscape,
<br />signalization and signing.

<br />Project Engineer, Milling and Resurfacing Project (MP 274.2-MP
<br />275.9), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, Lake County, Florida (03/01-
<br />06/01): Work on this design-build project consisted of milling, cross
<br />slope correction, resurfacing with Supcrpave and Friction Course (FC-5)
<br />
<br />and shoulder rework to avoid drop-off conditions.

<br />Office Engineer, 1-95 (Okeechobee Boulevard) Interchange, MK
<br />Centennial, FDOT District Four, Florida (11/97-02/01): Worked in a
<br />joint effort with URS and MK CentCl1nial, Inc. for a FDOT highway and
<br />bridge project. Monitored construction progress; prepared supplemental
<br />agreements, work orders, change orders, monthly progress estimates
<br />reports, and final estimate package following FDOT guidelines; input
<br />material testing reports in CQR; and kept records of all quantity
<br />deviations from original (Juantity using electronic spreadsheets such as
<br />Excel, Lotus, and Expedition Database.

<br />Office Engineer, Lejeune Road Interchange CEI, FDOT District
<br />Six, Miami, Florida (06/95-11/97): Served as Office Engineer for the
<br />construction of new ramps between SR 836 and N\V' 45th Avenue and
<br />the reconstruction of SR 836, LeJ eune Road and the vicinity of the Miami
<br />International Airport. Monitored construction progress, recorded material
<br />quantities, maintained daily records; prepared computerized weekly and
<br />monthly estimates using Lotus software; checked calculations of
<br />computation book and daily construction progress; kept records of all
<br />deviations from original contract quantity; and prepared final estimate
<br />package.
