Bridge had multiple skewed bents throughout due to <br />existing site conditions beneath the bridge. Taisei <br />Corporation, Japan (DMJM-Harris, 2002-2003), Different types of <br />bridge structures were considered to carry the loads and the very stringent <br />deflection requirements for a Magnetic Levitation Train. Optimum <br />structural types and spans were determined. Superstructures, piers and <br />foundation systems were designed in order to make cost comparisons.
