Inc. He has 19 years of geotechnical <br />engineering and heavy civil construction expericnce coupled with 10 years offull spectrum business management. As <br />Principal Engineer and Owner of Applied Foundation Testing, Mr. Muchard has been the responsible engineer <br />on hundreds of foundation testing projects over the past 10 years. These projects include various DOT, <br />government and private clients all over the continental United States, Canada, South America, and the <br />Caribbean. He has extensive experience and is considered an expert in ST A TNAMICTM, dynamic. and Static load <br />testing methods as well as instrumentation and data acquisition. Having perfonned over 3000 load tests on over 400 <br />projects involving driven piles and drilled shalts has resulted in his being selected for very special and challenging <br />deep foundation projects. Included a total of 16 load test piles that were strain instrumented at casting <br />yard. Dyna/Ilic tested. ST A TNA MICTM load tested and static load tested. Test piles included: 54" cylinder piles. 30" <br />PSC. 24" PSC. 16" PSc. a/ld 30" Pipe Piles. A Iso a total of 6 approach <br />bridges supported on prestressed concrete piles. Responsible AFT Engineer for: Post Grouting of all drilled <br />shafts. CSL testing and concrete integrity analysis on all shafts. Mini-SID inspection of test shaft. FDOT. New 4.000 foot rail bridge supported on 40 non-redundant <br />drilled shafts with 10 foot diameter. Responsible engineer for CSL testing and concrete integrity analysis on all <br />shafts, and SID inspection of bottom of each shaft. Perfonned instrumented post grouting on two production <br />shafts as part of VE proposal.
