<br />Tally Engineering, Inc. was hired as a Design Consultant and Construction Manager to provide professional services
<br />to Bergeron Properties, Inc. Our involvement consisted of I) pre-construction activities as a planner and designer, 2)
<br />during-construction as construction manager and special inspector, and 3) post-construction to close out the project.
<br />This was a 2.5 million dollar project, extending over 3 acres, and was a two stol)' retail plaza in addition to all the
<br />civil engineering work, landscaping, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services. These services were
<br />provided for the owner and Tally acted as owner representative. The scope of services included: providing Resident
<br />Engineer, Inspector, Scheduler and Cost Estimator, Cost Estimating, Claims and Change Order Analysis. The
<br />Resident Engineering and Inspection Services included: ensuring all work is performed in accordance with contract
<br />documents; coordinating construction activities, monitoring construction schedules and change orders, reviewing
<br />contractor pay requisitions; resolving construction problems; approving schedule and maintaining inspection log

<br />Scope of Service Provided: Design and construction of a ramp and bridge
<br />Eller Drive to US-I southbound, in addition to the widening of US-I southbound bridge over 1-595. The project
<br />included roadway improvements consisting for drainage, lighting, signing, striping, mechanically stabilized earth
<br />(MSE) retaining wall system. Quality control management of all material begin use within the limit of the project.
<br />Monitor and inspected the field placement of all structural fill material (embankment, pipe-backfill, sub-grade, base
<br />rock and MSE retaining wall system). Monitor the placement of all structural concrete including drilled shaft, (for
<br />Mass Arms and Cantilever Signs). Monitor the excavation and concrete placement for all for Mass Arms and
<br />Cantilever Signs drilled shaft structural.
