<br />. <br /> <br />TAB 5: <br /> <br />ApPROACH AND METHODOLOGY <br /> <br />At WLI, we believe it is essential that the Special Inspection Services, including Geotechnical/Construction <br />Administration requested are performed in compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. WLI will <br />coordinate and perform requested consulting services immediately as work is issued by the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach. When an assignment for services has been issued to WLI, the following preliminary project plan and <br />procedures will be implemented: <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />1. Upon receipt of a request for services, the designated WLI Project Manager will contact the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach's Project Manager of the assigned project to discuss and review the project scope requirements, <br />objectives, budget, schedule, and goals. Applicable guidelines and work procedures will be identified to <br />ensure that investigations, inspections, and analysis will be perfonned in accordance with applicable <br />standards and guidelines set f01ih. <br />2. The designated WLI Project Manager will review project specifics and work will be assigned to best <br />qualified professional for the services requested. <br />3. The designated WLI Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project including coordination <br />of resources, communications, performance, quality of services. <br />4. WLI will notify the City of SUlmy Isles Beach of scheduled testing/inspection the day prior to said service. <br />5. WLI will perf0TI11 required service and report results on a testing/inspection form <br />6. The designated WLI Project Manager will monitor the progress of project to assure that no service/inspection <br />is missed. <br />7. Project Manager will communicate periodically with the City of Sunny Isles Beach persoilllel to apprise them <br />of project progress, discuss possible issues, and findings. <br />8. Test results and rep01is will be submitted to the designated WLI Project Manager for review in order to <br />ensure quality of services, validity of results, and adherence to company policies, applicable standards, and <br />regulations. <br />9. WLI will perfonn professionally throughout the testing/inspection process and will implement additional <br />standards and services when required to assure total compliance with the engineering services provided to the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />10.
