Sunny Isles Beach RFQ No. 16-06-02 <br />Landscape Architect Services <br />Aventura Boulevard Streetscape & <br />Entrance Feature <br />Aventura, Florida <br />Client name: City of Aventura <br />Description of the scope of work: The directive from <br />the City of Aventura was to develop a Landscape Master <br />Plan for the entire City of Aventura. A part of this plan <br />included the streetscape design for Aventura Boulevard, <br />a main gateway into the Citfy. The landscape concept <br />included new custom street lighting, new custom street <br />furniture including bus shelters, benches, and trash re- <br />ceptacles; landscape lighting, xeriscape irrigation; illumi- <br />nated street signs and landscaping. The landscape pal- <br />ette included Majestic Date Palms and graceful Coconut <br />Palms in the median, with Live Oak trees shading the <br />pedestrian walkways in the swales.
