Tom Graboski <br />President <br />Recent Projects: <br />Royal Caribbean International's <br />Tom Graboski received his BFA from the Art Center College of Design in <br />Project Genesis Series <br />Los Angeles, and was awarded his Masters Degree in Urban Design <br />Celebrity Cruise Line's <br />from the University of Miami School of Architecture in 1977. In 1980, <br />Project Solstice Series <br />he founded Tom Graboski Associates, specializing in wayfinding, <br />environmental graphics, and signage design. <br />Coral Gables Museum <br />City of Coral Springs <br />Tom's unique background in architecture, interior design, urban <br />planning and graphic design blends talents that are essential to any <br />project. <br />Relevant Projects: <br />He has developed environmental graphics programs for a broad <br />City of Coral Springs <br />range of clients, including Royal Caribbean International, Universal <br />City of Coral Gables <br />Studios, Disney Development Corporation, Berkowitz Development, <br />Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the Marriott Corporation, Flagler <br />City of Aventura <br />Development, the University of Miami, Baptist Health South Florida, <br />Doral Park, City of Doral <br />and the Cities of Coral Gables, Aventura, Coral Springs, and Miami. <br />A member of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design, the <br />Industrial Design Society of America, and the American Institute of <br />Graphic Arts, he has been the recipient of many local and national <br />awards. Tom has taught, lectured, and been a visiting critic at the <br />University of Miami, Florida International University, Miami Dade <br />Community College, the Miami International University of Art and <br />Design, and Miami Ad School. His work has been published <br />extensively, both nationally and internationally. <br />Related Project Experience <br />City of Coral Gables <br />Design of an oft -street parking signage system for the City of Coral <br />Gables, encompassing 25 parking lots and 5 parking garages. We also <br />completed the design of the Coral Gables Trolley identity and signage. <br />City of Aventura <br />Design and implementation of a complete identity and wayfinding <br />signage system for the city. Key elements developed include city entry <br />features, a street banner program, parking identification, city bus and <br />bus shelter graphics, and graphics for the "Bus 2 Bus" transit program. <br />Doral Park, City of Doral <br />Preparation an overall sign masterplan for the entire PUD site that is <br />Downtown Doral. The plan included all sign types to be utilized <br />throughout the site. TGA Design located each sign on a site plan and <br />identified each sign type by function and design. Both vehicular and <br />pedestrian wayfinding and major project identity signage was <br />included. <br />City of Coral Springs <br />Tom assisted the City of Coral Springs in re -writing the sign code portion <br />of their City ordinance.
