David Stuart <br />Recent Projects: <br />David received his BSE from Northern Illinois University and continued with <br />Oceana, Key Biscayne <br />graduate studies in design and painting at San Diego State University and <br />Virgin Hotel, Chicago <br />the Art Academy of San Diego in the late 1970's. <br />City of Aventura <br />Prior to joining the TGA Design team in 2000, David was a founding partner <br />(1988) and Vice President of Design at PlanCom, Inc. in Chicago, IL. Prior <br />City of Coconut Creek <br />to arriving at PlanCom, he was instrumental in the founding of the SignPlan <br />City of Coral Springs <br />Program for ASI Sign Systems/Chicago, eventually adopted at ASI <br />Franchises on an International level. As Director of SignPlan, David taught <br />designers the importance of planning and the use of sign systems in <br />Relevant Projects: <br />environmental graphic design. <br />City of Coral Springs <br />David brings a wealth of design experience, project management skills <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />and knowledge of the science of wayfinding to the TGA Design team. He <br />is also a member of the Society of Environmental Graphic Designer (SEGD) <br />City of Aventura <br />and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. (AIGA) <br />Village of Palmetto Bay <br />Little River Business District, <br />Related Project Experience <br />Midtown Miami <br />City of Aventura <br />Design and implementation of a complete identity and wayfinding <br />signage system for the city. Key elements developed include city entry <br />features, a street banner program, parking identification, city bus and bus <br />shelter graphics, and graphics for the "Bus 2 Bus" transit program. <br />Village of Palmetto Bay, FL <br />Developed graphics for several Village public works projects. Projects <br />completed and implemented thus far include street identification signage, <br />identity for the "IBUS" city transit system, bus graphics, bus stop graphics, <br />bus stop signage and route maps, and four city entrance pylons. <br />Little River Business District, Miami, FL <br />The comprehensive signage program for this business campus includes <br />primary identification pylons as well as secondary identification <br />monuments and directional signs. Designed to be implemented in phases, <br />due to budgetary concerns, we are currently in phase one of the program. <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, FL <br />Design of the City of Sunny Isles entry feature signs along Collins Avenue, <br />Sunny Isles Beach access and identity signs, and signs for the City's new <br />park.
