<br />Summary Minutes: Regular City Commission Meeting <br /> <br />June 17,2004 <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, Rorida <br /> <br />June 3, 2004 City Commission meeting, and the policy that was created, we substitute the <br />following language: "That the applicant submit prior to the issuance of a Building Permit <br />evidence to the City of the possession or rights to possession of the Transferred <br />Development Rights equivalent to 50 units and 126,737 square feet". Mr. Sieger <br />reminded the Commission about the shower. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brezin moved and Commissioner Iglesias seconded a motion for <br />approval as amended, subject to staff conditions. Request of Dezer Properties 108 LLC, Owner of the Property Located at 15800 <br />Collins A venue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, for the Following: <br />[Hearing #Z2003-14] <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to Section 265-18 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the applicant is <br />requesting a site plan approval to permit a temporary trailer to be used as a sales office. <br /> <br />2. Pursuant to Section 265-13 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the applicant is <br />requesting a conditional use to permit a temporary trailer. <br /> <br />Protests <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Waivers 0 Ex-Parte ~ <br />(Deferred from June 3, 2004) <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Hines read a disclaimer for the Zoning hearing, and read the <br />applicant's name, hearing number, location and then administered the oath to the <br />witnesses for the Zoning hearing. Planning and Zoning Administrator Jorge Vera <br />reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: Peter Weiner; Gil Dezer; Richard Pacetti, Architect <br /> <br />Peter Weiner, representing the applicant, reported that the sales trailer is for the proposed <br />project that is going to go across the street on the property known as the Fountainhead, <br />and the former Days Inn properties. He noted that the sales trailers have been there, <br />originally put there under administrative approval by the City, which was rescinded and <br />they went forward with the application. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brezin asked for a 15-foot easement, she said we need 150-feet in order to <br />create a bus bay because when the bus approaches from north to south, before it reaches <br />the Arlen properties on that corner, they make a stop, several drivers go around it.
