<br /> <br />7. Project schedule <br />8, Detailed Bid Form <br />9. Cost details and break-out <br /> <br />B. Meetings <br /> <br />The Consultant will be required to attend and/or update the City regularly. Such meetings <br />will be held at the City. Minutes of all meetings must be prepared by the Consultant and <br />submitted to all those in attendance. <br /> <br />FDOT Pre-application meetings. <br /> <br />C. Design Standards <br /> <br />The design standards shall incorporate ALL relevant Florida Building Codes ("FBC"), Florida <br />Department of Transportation ("FDOT'') Standards, and Miami Dade County Standards where <br />applicable and necessary and any other applicable Federal or State Standard. <br /> <br />D. Design Schedule <br /> <br />The Consultant must prepare a project schedule, including service breakdown, which depicts <br />the project with key milestones and deliverables for design. The schedule shall be updated <br />bi-weekly and must at a minimum key decision points in the design process including utility <br />coordination and easements, responsible parties for each decision, early start for each <br />activity, expected finish for each activity and a critical path. <br /> <br />Considerations for design shall include but shall not be limited to: FDOT Standards, FBC <br />Standards, Miami-Dade County Standards, Federal Standards, State Standards, City and <br />Owner requests, demolition phasing and coordination, impacts to parking, impact to vehicular <br />flow, utility relocation/adjustments, drainage and impact to existing drainage systems, <br />landscaping and existing streetscape, etc... <br /> <br />E. Estimates <br /> <br />The Consultant is responsible for the preparation of a cost estimate for construction. Cost <br />estimates must be in unit prices. The estimate MUST be an Engineer's Estimate of Cost <br />which will be used as the basis for evaluation of bid tabulations from prospective bidders at <br />the time of Construction Bid. If the apparent low bid is more than 10% over the Engineer's <br />estimate of Cost, the City retains the right to request that Consultant to redesign and <br />resubmit the project at no additional cost to the City. <br /> <br />F. Administration <br /> <br />The Consultant is responsible for utility coordination, surveying, and securing all permit <br />information from Agencies Having Jurisdiction necessary to ensure that all information is <br />provided on the drawings. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach I Request for Qualifications No. 11-11-01 <br /> <br />
