City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />RFP# 11 -12 -01 <br />((Do) Fleet Wide Remote Management System <br />January 4, 2012\ <br />Response to Specifications <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br />3.2 SCOPE OF WORK <br />Implement a REMOTE/ Fleet management system for an estimated 120 City vehicles. The <br />system shall have the ability to display, in real -time, the current vehicle statistics through a <br />website. <br />The REMOTE system shall be able to integrate with the vehicles computer system to will allow <br />for real -time data retrieval. The REMOTE system must retrieve reading the engine codes (e.g., <br />vehicle diagnostic codes), actual odometer, actual vehicle speed (not just REMOTE derived <br />speed) actual fuel consumption, idle time, engine hours (with power- take -off (PTO) on and PTO <br />off) and status of all sensors and etc. <br />Comply. Please note that not all the vehicles listed in your RFP will have engine <br />diagnostics capabilities, and that there are multiple types of diagnostic interfaces <br />and they don't all provide the same information. <br />At a minimum, but not limited to, the system shall provide the following stats: <br />• Real -Time Location <br />Comply. The RSI AVL Application displays the current location and status <br />of the vehicle fleet, along with address, route, and other attribute <br />information, over both raster and vector -based maps (as desired). <br />Ignition Report <br />Comply. RSI AVL monitors vehicle ignition on/off. <br />Speed Alerts <br />Comply. RSI can provide alerts and reports on speed relative to a global <br />limit (ie 70mph). <br />View Start /Stop reports <br />Comply. Reports may be produced for selected vehicles (or groups of <br />vehicles) according to time, location, and status criteria. The Map -based <br />report displays allow users to visually display or re -trace a vehicle's route <br />and status, and include the same map manipulation and query functionality <br />as the real -time vehicle tracking displays <br />Monitor Engine Hour runtime <br />Comply.
