The RSI AVL system monitors and reports idle times. <br />Maintenance Management <br />Comply. RSI AVL has a Preventative Maintenance feature that monitors <br />scheduled services based on time and mileage. The RSI AVL system can also <br />tap into vehicle diagnostics for engine trouble codes etc. <br />• Route Finder <br />The RSI AVL system does not create routes but can utilize Google Maps to <br />provide a route. RSI can also incorporate customized Garmin units into the <br />vehicles for navigation and destination routing. <br />Historical Route Tracking <br />Comply. The RSI AVL system allows you to watch a historical "replay" of <br />any portion of a vehicle's activity history at various speeds. Controls let you <br />play, pause, rewind, and fast forward the replay allowing you to watch the <br />vehicles' movement and behavior including location, device activities, alerts, <br />status changes, events, etc. Each breadcrumb icon represents a vehicle <br />position and all its underlying data including address, direction, speed, and <br />status. <br />3.3 FLEET MANAGEMENT <br />The City is seeking a REMOTE/Fleet Management system that will allow the City to operate <br />more effectively and efficiently. The objective of this system is to provide reports to identify <br />opportunities to reduce fuel expense by identifying items such as; <br />• overlapping routes <br />• duplicate trips <br />• routes taken <br />• Routine maintenances due <br />• Ensure safe driving practices <br />RSI AVL is a turn key Web browser based system on ESRI ArcGIS Server (no <br />license needed). We can include your ESRI GIS map data to relate to your vehicle <br />status information. We uniquely can access your actual ESRI GIS data in real time <br />via Map Services. A wide variety of customizable functionality is available and is <br />described below. <br />3.4 GEO FENCING <br />The proposed system shall include the ability for implementing geo- fencing based on customized <br />areas as well as sending alerts when the geo- fences are breached. <br />Comply. The RSI AVL system allows the user to set geo- fences on the map display. <br />Since RSI AVL is based on ESRI ArcGIS Server, we can use virtually any GIS <br />element to create geofences using a radius, polygon, or line.
