© InterFleet <br />Optional Hardware <br />RFP No. 11 -12 -01 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Start with the WebTech Locator and build on the hardware and the standard configuration with <br />accessories, customized reporting and alerts, data transmission, telemetry, vehicle diagnostics, <br />and a myriad of other options. Accessories and their applications are detailed throughout the <br />Solution Portfolio in the associated sections. <br />Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) <br />Hardware can integrate with a <br />variety of Mobile Data Terminals <br />facilitating communication <br />between dispatch and the vehicle <br />operators. InterFleet Inc. can <br />provide a user interface that <br />allows dispatch to select from <br />canned or free formed messages <br />to send to a vehicle operator. <br />The vehicle operator in turn can <br />select from a variety of canned <br />messages to communicate with <br />dispatch. All messages shall be <br />logged into a console for <br />historical reference. <br />Driver ID Kit <br />Driver authentication (logging in a driver) with the Driver ID Kit (or MDT) allows you to track not <br />only the vehicle, but the driver of the vehicle. The Locator can also be configured to disable the <br />vehicle starter unless a driver is positively authenticated. <br />When a driver swipes a valid iButton key fob, the driver is automatically identified and validated <br />against the driver list created in the AVL application and stored on the Locator. When a valid <br />Driver ID is presented, a login record is sent and the data is available in a variety of reports <br />including the Vehicle Status Page, Driver Report Card, Driver Status, Driver Performance Report, <br />Driver Timesheet and more. <br />Remote Panic Button <br />The Remote Panic Button alerts office <br />staff using email, SMS text, or an XML <br />interface to a back office dispatch <br />application, when pressed. Drivers can <br />send alerts and their status from outside <br />the vehicle with a wireless panic button, <br />or from inside the vehicle with the hard <br />wired call button. <br />The horn can also be configured (using <br />telemetry) to honk continuously when a <br />panic alert is activated. <br />PROPRIETARY & CONFIDENTIAL: This document contains information that is proprietary to InterFleet Inc.
