C I T Y OF S U N N Y I S L E S B E A C H <br />T R A F F 1 C E N G I N E E R I N G S E R V I C E S r. <br />A SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED SERVICES <br />Our objective is to provide the City with high quality, timely professional services. We are committed to be <br />an extension of your staff and to "tailor fit" our services to provide specifically what the City desires. <br />Our project management philosophy is to be proactive. This simply means: to search out problems and <br />solve them before they can happen. Our project manager will provide direction and be responsible to the <br />City for the quality and timeliness of the work. Mr. Javier Rodriguez, P.E., as noted, has over 24 years of <br />civil engineering experience in urban and rural roadway design projects. Working closely with the City, Mr. <br />Rodriguez will provide an effective work plan that will match closely with that process employed by the City, <br />tailored specifically for the project: <br />a. STAFFING PLAN As outlined in our organizational chart, the project will identify the key personnel and <br />their responsibilities as described in our staffing section. <br />b. CLOSE COORDINATION Subject to the needs of the specific task order, close coordination will be <br />provided on a weekly and monthly basis, using e -mail and other effective means as required for the specific <br />tasks. <br />C. INTERACTIVE TEAM MANAGEMENT APPROACH Our project approach will keep the City thoroughly <br />informed of the project. The team approach is the cornerstone of RJ BEHAR'S method of doing business. <br />d. IN -HOUSE "BRAINSTORMING SESSION" Once we obtain sufficient field data and have completed our field <br />review, our project team will conduct a "brainstorming session ", where the key personnel gather to discuss <br />the project and suggest an optimum solution for the project. The goal of is to get the decision makers <br />involved early. <br />e. USE OF INTERACTIVE APPROACH WITH THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH TO ACCELERATE WORK The goal <br />of the interactive approach proposed by our team is to get the decision makers involved in the project from <br />the very start. Major design decisions will be coordinated with City's Staff through the City's Project <br />Manager. This timely involvement allows our team to avoid false starts and eliminates significant design <br />changes at the submittals. <br />f. WEEKLY IN -HOUSE MEETINGS We hold weekly in -house staff meetings with detailed action items to track <br />budgets and design activities. <br />g. MONTHLY PROGRESS MEETINGS Our Project Manager will meet with the City's Project Manager on a <br />monthly basis to review the project's progress.
