C I T Y OF S U N N Y I S L E S B E A C <br />T R A F F I C E N G I N E E R I N G S E R V I C E S <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF SE 3RD STREET <br />BELLE GLADE, FL <br />in <br />RJ Behar is the lead Designer and H & J Contracting, Inc. is the Design - Builder of SE 3rd Street between <br />Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard and G Avenue, Belle Glade, Palm Beach County, Florida. This is a <br />Design -Build contract. The scope of this project included roadway plans, drainage design, signing & marking <br />plans and utility relocation plans. The design included the use of filter fabric and a thick sub -base in lieu of <br />demucking the roadway. The project also included water and sewer plans to be constructed as part of the <br />roadway improvements. The project included relocation of 1,640 feet of 8 inch water mains and installation of <br />1,312 feet of 8 inch wastewater lines including manholes and service connections.
