METHODOLOGY <br />Florida Transportation Engineering offers a highly qualified group of professionals for the City of Sunny Isles <br />r Beach Traffic Engineering Services. These professionals have extensive experience working in previous contracts <br />with the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami -Dade County, City of Miami Beach, Lee County, Collier <br />County, Broward County, City of Cape Coral, City of Sanibel, Charlotte County, Sarasota County, Manatee <br />�. County, City of Tampa, Monroe County, City of Naples, and several other municipalities in the South Florida <br />Region. FTE understands the importance of this contract and the impact of services for the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach and the general public. FTE's outlook incorporates a high -level technical plan in the approach to this <br />contract, with the adequate administration and coordination to be able to achieve solutions and consensus <br />among stakeholders. <br />COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION <br />FTE considers that an essential element for this contract is to maintain direct lines of communication that will <br />allow sharing of ideas, experience, and use of technology, as well as, providing high quality services to the City. <br />Also, this contract calls for FTE Project Manager with adequate experience and authority to commit the <br />resources. The ability of our Project Manager to develop schedules, organize subgroups for additional tasks, and <br />track all progress in various work orders will enhance the efficiency in fund allocations. <br />In many cases, conflicts just seem to be a fact of life. This does not necessarily have to be a bad thing as long as <br />the conflicts are resolved promptly and positively, leading to success. FTE's leadership skills can make the <br />difference between positive and negative outcomes. FTE's Team basis for <br />conflict resolution is to develop a <br />i stronger mutual respect and a <br />renewed faith in our ability to <br />work as part of a team and as an <br />extension of the City. It is our policy to <br />provide the most of value engineering concepts through cost - effectiveness for the conditions given. FTE have <br />demonstrated these capabilities on previous projects of this type. Cost control is provided through a custom <br />accounting system software, which tracks project costs and provides project performance and billing <br />information. FTE's Project Managers use this accounting information and project status to track performance on <br />a regular basis.
