O <br />eConsulting Engineering & Science, Inc. <br />Isles Beach or the CES Team will submit these "final" plans to MDPWD for final <br />approval. The County then becomes the applicant to MOT for the traffic signal permit. <br />The CES Team will respond to any FDOT comments received and resubmit the plans to <br />Sunny Isles and /or the County. The County, in turn will again submit the plans to FDOT <br />for a special permit. <br />Task 5: Bidding & Award <br />During this task, the CES Team will assist City staff as necessary in preparing the final <br />Bid Package; and, will attend a Pre -Bid Conference, respond to Requests for Information <br />(RFI) during the bid process, assist in the receipt and review of the bids, tabulate the bids, <br />assist in developing a Schedule of Values and assist with the formal award of the <br />Contracts. <br />Task 6: Construction Administration <br />This task will include, but may not be limited to, attendance by the engineer at a Pre- <br />Construction meeting with the City, Contractor and regulatory agencies; review of all <br />shop drawings; in -house responses to questions; preparation of additional drawings and / <br />or sketches to clarify the intent of the construction documents or to present accepted <br />revisions / substitutions; scheduled construction observations by qualified staff to assure <br />conformity with drawings and specifications' attendance by the engineer at final <br />E inspections; and preparation of project completion certifications, as required. <br />Project Scheduling <br />In addition to the above tasks, the CES Team is aware of the importance of keeping track <br />j of the project schedule, milestones and deliverables of the project. The CES Team will <br />prepare a project schedule which will include schedules of meetings to be held (with the <br />City, various agencies, etc.), 30 %, 60% and 100% completion of construction plans, <br />coordination meetings with utility companies, early and anticipated finish along with a <br />critical path.
