The site is within the corporate limits of both <br />the City of Miami and the City of Coral Gables. The project included driveway <br />connections to adjacent roadways; on -site paving, grading and drainage <br />improvements; and, off -site water main and sewer main extensions necessary to serve <br />the project. <br />Month and Year the project was started and completed: Design Completion: 2009• <br />Construction Completion: 2011. <br />Role of Firm and Responsibilities: <br />Under contract to the Developer, and working closely with the Project Architect and <br />ultimate user, Consulting Engineering & Science, Inc. served as Civil Engineer of <br />Record for the design, preparation of construction documents and permitting of this <br />project. Special features included coordinating permitting of all improvements with <br />both the City of Miami Building Department and the City of Coral Gables Building <br />Department; securing special and drainage permits from the Florida Department of <br />Transportation; coordinating right -of -way dedications to the County along S.W. 37th <br />Avenue; securing release of portions of the project site from WASD's sewer service <br />area; and, overall dealing with three (3) local regulatory authorities (Miami -Dade <br />County, City of Miami and City of Coral Gables). During construction, a video study <br />of existing adjacent sewer mains indicated pipe damage; and, we coordinated with the <br />Owner, Contractor and City to have this damage repaired during the project's <br />construction. <br />City RFP No. 11 -11 -01 <br />1 <br />
