Traffic CI'T'Y OF SUNNY ISLES 13EAC11 <br />Engineering Services <br />Relevant Experience <br />Signal Warrant Analysis and FDOT Permitting Assistance for Signal at <br />182nd Street and Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, FL — Performed a <br />signal warrant analysis at the intersection of 182nd Street and Collins Avenue <br />in Sunny Isles Beach. This proposed signal will serve the shopping center that <br />will be served by the proposed new driveway. We prepared a preliminary signal <br />design and met with FDOT to discuss the need for this signal. <br />Traffic Circulation Analysis at Heritage Park, Sunny Isles Beach, FL <br />Prepared a detailed analysis of traffic circulation conditions surrounding the new <br />Heritage Park. Of particular concern to the City and its residents was queuing <br />on Collins Avenue, traffic operations on Gallahad Dade Boulevard, and the valet <br />circulation patterns of the nearby Ramada Resort on Collins Avenue. Kimley - <br />Horn was able to provide an analysis that convinced nearby property owners <br />that the traffic circulation in the area would not be negatively affected. <br />) <br />Identification of Vehicular and Pedestrian Issues for the Proposed Sunny <br />Isles Aquatic Center, Sunny Isles Beach, FL — Prepared a study that <br />analyzed access, circulation, and pedestrian safety issues at the proposed <br />Sunny Isles Aquatic Center. <br />Broward Avenue and Volusia Street Signal Design, Florida Atlantic <br />University, Boca Raton, FL — Project engineer. Kimley -Horn designed a <br />traffic signal at the intersection of Broward Avenue and Volusia Street on the <br />} FAU Boca Raton campus. The signal is a trombone -style mast arm. The signal <br />serves a busy intersection with a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. <br />Kimley -Horn worked closely with the trombone -style mast arm manufacture to <br />ensure that the design would meet the wind loading requirements for coastal <br />Florida. <br />Belvedere Road from East of Jog Road to Military Trail, West Palm Beach, <br />FL — Project analyst. Kimley -Horn prepared a traffic study for the expansion <br />of a four -lane facility to six lanes, We then provided services for an alignment <br />and right -of -way study to add one additional lane and assess the impacts and <br />costs associated with it. <br />Okeechobee Road (US 27 /SR 25) Action Plan, Level 5, Miami -Dade County, <br />FL — Developed long -range future traffic projections for Okeechobee Road <br />corridor. Provided transportation modeling, intersection analyses, and diversion <br />analyses for year 2025 conditions. <br />Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Continuing Minor Civil Engineering <br />(Multiple Projects), FL — Kimley -Horn is providing a variety of services for <br />FAU at its multiple Florida campuses. Provided traffic engineering services for <br />the FAU Boca Raton Campus Broward Avenue and Volusia Street Traffic Signal <br />project in Boca Raton.
