- _ _' <br />Traffic CITY OF SUNNY ISLES 13EAC11 <br />Engineering Services <br />Juan Jimenez, P.E. <br />Quality Assurance /Quality Control <br />Relevant Experience <br />Southwest Neighborhood Plan, Parking Lots, Sidewalks and Street Repair, <br />Homestead, FL — Served as design engineer responsible for the design and <br />preparation of construction documents and specifications, permitting, bidding, <br />and construction phase services for the construction of two parking lots and <br />500 linear feet of roadway improvements along NW 2nd and 3rd Streets. <br />Improvements consisted of on- street and off - street parking, paving and <br />roadway reconstruction, drainage, lighting, irrigation, and landscaping. <br />Streetscape for SW 4th Street, Homestead, FL — Project manager for <br />the design of roadway and streetscape improvements following the SW 4th <br />Street Master Plan. The project consisted of roadway resurfacing, right-of- <br />way beautification, on- street parking, streetscape, landscape, and irrigation <br />improvements along SW 4th Street between SW 2nd and SW 7th Avenues. The <br />project also included repair of existing drainage utilities and traffic signage. <br />Lincoln Road Closure, Miami Beach, FL — Serving as civil engineer. <br />This project is a joint- venture between the City of Miami Beach and UTA <br />Management, LLC. The 1000 -1100 Block of Lincoln Road has been closed to <br />vehicular traffic to allow for the extension of the Lincoln Road Pedestrian Mall. <br />The mall is being extended west, from Lenox Avenue to Alton Road, and will <br />y ) include a new pedestrian plaza. The design also includes four water gardens, <br />and streetscape and infrastructure improvements. Kimley -Horn is providing <br />due diligence, civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting, traffic <br />signal modifications, and lighting and electrical design services for this project. <br />Miami River Greenway, Miami, FL — Served as project engineer and assisted <br />with the design of roadway improvements, including production work and <br />utility coordination. The KHA team was retained to redesign North and South <br />River Drives in the City of Miami to incorporate a continuous greenway along <br />the Miami River. The firm developed schematic designs and 30% construction <br />documents based on a previous visioning master plan created by Greenways, <br />Inc. The new Miami River Greenway will serve as a pedestrian linkage for <br />the many communities along the river to the downtown. Under this contract, <br />Kimley -Horn developed typical cross - sections and plan view graphics that <br />incorporated important urban design elements along the greenway. <br />North and South River Drives, Miami, FL — Served as project engineer. <br />Kimley -Horn was retained to redesign North and South River Drives in the City <br />of Miami to incorporate a continuous greenway along the Miami River. The <br />firm developed schematic designs and 30 percent construction documents. <br />Additional aesthetic improvements included site furniture, pedestrian lighting, <br />and preliminary landscape recommendations to enhance the overall quality <br />and provide a definable image for the Miami River Greenway.
