<br />' Lincoln Road Closure, Miami Beach, FL — Served as project manager during
<br />construction phase. This project is a joint- venture between the City of Miami
<br />Beach and UTA Management, LLC. The 1000 -1100 block of Lincoln Road has
<br />been closed to vehicular traffic to allow for the extension of the Lincoln Road
<br />Pedestrian Mall. The mall was extended west, from Lenox Avenue to Alton
<br />Road, and includes a new pedestrian plaza. The design also includes four
<br />water gardens, and streetscape and infrastructure improvements. Kimley -Horn
<br />provided due diligence, civil engineering, landscape architecture, permitting,
<br />traffic signal modifications, and lighting and electrical design services for this
<br />project.
<br />1111 Lincoln Road Parking Garage, Miami Beach, FL — Served as project
<br />manager during construction phase. This mixed -use project involved
<br />renovations and improvements to the existing building, which included retail
<br />space, six levels of parking, residential rooftop units, an open -air restaurant on
<br />the roof, as well as the addition of a new building. The new building includes a
<br />ground floor bank, private banking quarters, and four residential units. Kimley-
<br />Horn provided civil and traffic engineering services including due diligence,
<br />contract documents, permitting, and construction phase assistance.
<br />New World Symphony Parking Garage, Miami Beach, FL — Civil engineering
<br />analyst on the Kimley -Horn team that provided civil engineering design,
<br />traffic and signal engineering services, roadway engineering, and associated
<br />permitting for this new state -of- the -art facility. The project also included
<br />the development of the 600 -car Pennsylvania parking structure, for which
<br />Kimley -Horn provided preliminary civil engineering consulting services. This
<br />structure replaced and expanded existing on -site parking for the New World
<br />Symphony Campus. In addition to parking, this 38,000- square -foot, multistory
<br />structure will house ground level retail facilities. Kimley- Horn's services for the
<br />parking structure include due diligence, civil engineering design, agency /utility
<br />coordination, and permitting.
<br />Florida International University (FIU) Science Classroom Complex (SCC),
<br />Miami -Dade County, FL — Provided assistance with LEED® /sustainability
<br />issues. As a subconsultant to another firm, Kimley -Horn is providing civil
<br />engineering services related to the Science Classroom Complex (SCC), an
<br />±80,000- square -foot, $43.5- million, laboratory and classroom facility located
<br />within FIU's Modesto Maidique Campus. The SCC is part of the Academic
<br />Health Sciences Center Master Plan that Kimley -Horn also helped develop
<br />with Perkins +Will. The complex will house classrooms, research laboratories,
<br />a vivarium, office /study spaces, an area for receiving scientific supplies and
<br />hazardous materials, storage spaces, service yard with loading dock and
<br />other support spaces. Upon completion, FIU will be seeking LEED° Silver
<br />certification for this project.
