Broward College Campus -Wide Master Planning, Broward County, <br />FL — Served as project analyst. KHA provided utility planning services at <br />Broward College Central, North, and downtown Fort Lauderdale campuses. <br />The KHA team has provided a compilation of the utility information collected <br />from Broward College staff via meetings and existing plans; conducted <br />an overall assessment of conditions and life expectancy of the respective <br />utilities; assessed the existing utilities (water, sanitary sewer, and drainage) <br />to determine demands and required improvements based on the 5 -year and <br />10 -year buildout of the campuses; assisted in phasing and scheduling of <br />utility improvements; and reviewed and made recommendations for LEED° <br />enhancements. In addition, Kimley -Horn provided an overall assessment of <br />existing landscape materials, provided recommendations for enhancements, <br />and assisted in providing estimated costs and budgets for required landscape <br />improvements. This multi - phased project included a study, <br />• Serving as a project analyst <br />conceptual design, temporary implementation of the design for a trial period, <br />• Software experience includes <br />and final design of the permanent improvements. The City and its Community <br />AutoCAD (versions 2005 -2011) <br />Redevelopment Agency (CRA) adopted the Downtown Delray Beach Master <br />and MATLAB <br />Plan, and one of its key elements is a reconfiguration of the two one -way <br />Professional Credentials <br />segments of US 1 from three lanes to two. Kimley -Horn evaluated potential <br />Bachelor of Science, Civil <br />changes to the lane configuration along southbound and northbound <br />Engineering, University of Florida <br />segments of US 1. We developed alternatives, forecasted future traffic volumes <br />for review with the City and the CRA, and led several public involvement <br />: Professional Organizations <br />workshops. Temporary improvements were installed to study the real -world <br />American Society of Civil <br />;Engineering <br />effects of fewer and narrower lanes. In 2010, the CRA asked KHA to move <br />forward with designs for permanent improvements.
