Chen Moore and Associates is a civil/environmental engineering and landscape architecture consulting firm that is a Florida State certified MBE firm and a certified CBE in Miami-Dade County with offices in Miami, Ft, Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Stuart and Gainesville, Founded in 1986, Chen Moore and Associates has grown to a staff of 28 full-time personnel who specialize in civil engineering, roadway design, drainage design, master planning, landscape architecture, GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and construction management including twelve licensed professional engineers and a professional landscape architect, CMA brings to the City a vast amount of municipal and governmental engineering experience in South Florida. We believe it is critical that the consultant for these services is knowledgeable about working in Miami-Dade County and has experience with municipal clients. We have effectively designed projects including drainage wells and exfiltration trench, with and without positive outfalls, in both the northern and southern parts of Miami-Dade County and in both existing residential and commercial areas. We know the formula that works and have the right experience for this project. With over 25 years of municipal engineering experience and over 14 in Miami-Dade County, Chen Moore and Associates has the local knowledge and expertise to meet your needs, Within the past five years, we have completed roadway and drainage improvement projects for a number of municipal clients in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties including: City of North Miami Beach Village of Pinecrest Islamorada, Village of Islands City of Miami Beach City of Dania Beach City of Marathon Key Personnel The Chen Team feels that its organizational approach and relevant experience will be the most cost effective and time sensitive due to our focus on being responsive to all of the City's needs. The City's point of contact shall be Jose L. Acosta, P.E. (954,260.3987), who will serve as the project manager and Engineer of Record of the project. Mr. Acosta has over 12 years of experience and has served as the project manager and Engineer of Record on many similar projects for the Town of Miami Lakes and the City of Miami Gardens, He has also served in a quality control management role with the City of Miami Beach and the Village of Pinecrest.
