Lauderdale, FL 33315 <br />(954) 359-2255 <br /> <br />Neighborhood Improvement Project - Traffic Calming, Dania Beach, FL <br /> <br />Chen Moore and Associates designed and administered the construction of a series of traffic calming <br />elements. The design included 5 roundabouts, 2 raised <br />intersections, 2 speed tables, 3 raised medians, 2 partial <br />closures, a bike lane and 10 speed humps. The project is located <br />SE of Dania Boulevard and US 1 with challenges that included <br />right of way limitations and easement considerations, <br />coordination with property owners, roadway elevation <br />consistency, preserved County lands, and roadway realignments. <br />The project required coordination with other consultant projects <br />and agencies. The implementation of these devices will not <br />only help calm traffic throughout the neighborhood, making <br />the streets safer, it will also provide more aesthetically pleasing <br />elements for the residents to enjoy. <br /> <br />Client <br />City of Dania Beach <br />Dominic Orlando <br />100 W.
