Urban Land Institute <br /> <br />Certifications <br />Certified Stormwater Management Inspector <br /> <br />Summary <br />)Mr. Buick has over 11 years of experience in <br />planning, design and permitting of stormwater <br />management systems (paving, grading and <br />drainage) and water and sewer connections for <br />several municipalities in South Florida. <br /> <br />Mr. Buick has coordinated storm water <br />management projects with numerous permit <br />agencies throughout South Florida including <br />FDEP, SFWMD, US ACOE, and various County <br />and City agencies and has extensive experience <br />working on projects in environmentally sensitive <br />areas including wetlands and coastal areas. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br />North Miami Beach NE 173rd Street Right <br />of Way Improvements. Chen Moore and <br />Associates prepared right-of-way improvement <br />plans for NE 173rd Street from West Dixie <br />Highway to NE 23rd Avenue within an existing <br />residential community. The design included <br />storm water improvements, formalizing of <br />onstreet parking, traffic/roadway modifications, <br />sidewalks with ADA grading considerations and <br />preserving and incorporating existing trees and <br />resident requests. This project also included <br /> <br />the design of a traffic circle to provide traffic <br />calming as well as streetscape beautification <br />with a stamped concrete apron and <br />landscaping. The design plans were permitted <br />via the City of North Miami Beach, Miami-Dade <br />County Department of Environmental Resources <br />Management and Miami-Dade County Public <br />Works Traffic Engineering Department. <br />Services included design, permitting, bidding <br />assistance and limited construction <br />administration services. <br /> <br />North Miami Beach NE 168th Street <br />Roadway Improvements. Chen Moore and <br />Associates provided consulting engineering <br />services for the NE 168 Street (between NE 18 <br />Avenue and NE 19 Avenue) and NE 18 Avenue <br />(between NE 168 Street and NE 169 Street) <br />right of way improvements. The scope of the <br />project included addressing drainage concerns, <br />providing new curbing and street paving, <br />replacing/adding sidewalks, providing new <br />paved parking areas which were gravel, and <br />providing landscaping areas for future plantings <br />to be completed by the City. <br /> <br />Town of Miami Lakes Lake Patricia <br />Roadway & Drainage Improvements. Chen <br />Moore and Associates is implementing drainage <br />improvements identified on the most recent <br />Town of Miami Lakes Stormwater Master Plan <br />for approximately one square mile of an existing <br />residential neighborhood near Lake Patricia in <br />southern Miami Lakes near Ludlam Road. <br />Services include utility coordination, schematic <br />and final design phases, government <br />permitting, bidding assistance, construction <br />administration and statements of work <br />completion. The final design included <br />approximately 1,900 LF of exfiltration trench <br />and rehabilitation/upsizing of 6 existing outfalls. <br />CMA is also assisting Miami Lakes with the <br />acquisition of potential grant opportunities for <br />funding the construction of the proposed <br />improvements. <br /> <br />www.chenmoore.com <br />
