As an Engineering Inspector for <br />Chen Moore and Associates, he is responsible <br />for testing and inspections on various types of <br />projects including neighborhood improvement, <br />water/wastewater and storm water projects <br />throughout Florida. He has been involved in <br />projects which total over $40 million in <br />construction value. These projects include <br />various projects for Miami Beach, Pinecrest, <br />North Miami Beach and the Monterra <br />Development as well as the Dania Beach <br />Neighborhood Improvement Projects, <br />Broadview Park Neighborhood Improvement <br /> <br />Project, the St. George East and Broadview Park <br />portions of the Central County Neighborhood <br />Improvement project. <br /> <br />Project Experience <br />Broward County St. George East. The <br />Central County Neighborhood Improvement <br />Project (CCNIP) is the second of three <br />neighborhood infrastructure improvements <br />projects carried out by Broward County in the <br />unincorporated areas. The project included <br />improvements to the drainage, water, sewer, <br />and roadway systems. Chen Moore and <br />Associates was selected to be the design <br />engineer for one third of the project sites, <br />including the Franklin Park, Washington Park, <br />St. George West and East neighborhood areas. <br />Chen Moore and Associates was also part of a <br />team of engineers that completed the basis of <br />design report (BODR), and served as the <br />project reviewer that made recommendations <br />resulting in substantial savings to the project's <br />budget. The St. George East Portion of the <br />project, which is located SE of Sunrise <br />Boulevard and NW 31st Avenue involved the <br />installation of water and sewer improvements, <br />along with paving and drainage improvements, <br />landscaping and entry features. The project was <br />completed on time and on budget and included <br />emergency change orders related to Hurricane <br />Clean-Up and approximately 2 miles of 20" <br />Water Main in FDOT ROW. <br /> <br />Miami Beach City Center Right of Way <br />Improvement Project. Chen Moore and <br />Associates is the prime consultant and was <br />responsible for providing surveying, planning, <br />geotechnical investigation, design, permitting, <br />preparation of construction documents, bid and <br />award and construction engineering and <br />inspection services for infrastructure <br />improvements within the public right of way <br />areas of the City Center neighborhood of Miami <br />Beach.
