In addition, Chen Moore and Associates prepared the "future conditions" model based on the airport master plan; submitted for a conceptual stormwater management permit from Broward County EPD and SFWMD; and worked with the consulting engineers for the new south runway to submit for a construction permit. 1 I I Hollywood Stormwater Master Plan Update. Chen Moore and Associates reviewed the analysis from the previous Stormwater Master Plan for the City of Hollywood, which was completed in 2004, and prepared the update to the Plan with new topographic and system data along with recent drainage improvements projects. Chen Moore and Associates also updated the ICPR storm water model for the entire City limits to )allow the City to assess the performance of various alternatives for drainage system improvements. Chen Moore and Associates used the stormwater model to estimate whether the system improvements would meet level-of- service criteria for various storm events. During the completion of this project, Chen Moore and Associates was responsible for analyzing the performance of various system improvement alternatives, providing system improvement recommendations with associated cost considerations, and providing design guidelines for new development. Village of Pinecrest SW 72 Ct-SW 112 St to SW 116 St Drainage Analysis. Chen Moore and Associates worked with the Village of Pinecrest to review existing conditions and evaluate the existing stormwater Level of Service (LOS) within the SW 72nd Court from SW 112th Street to SW 116 Street residential neighborhood due to resident concerns. CMA conducted an analysis of the area including review of existing topographic data, soils information and drainage system conditions reports of the existing system including existing drainage structures and outfalls to the South Florida Water Management District Canal. CMA provided recommendations for improvements to meet Village LOS standards Marathon MS4 Permitting. Chen Moore and Associates provided consulting engineering services for the submittal of the FDEP NPDES MS4 annual report for the City of Marathon. CMA also worked with the City to obtain the renewal of the MS4 permitting for the current cycle which included development of best management practice goals, developing public informational brochures, updating the City's current stormwater ordinance to reflect current regulations and coordinating supplemental information with the permitting agencies. Monterra Development University Drive Improvements. The Chen Moore Team designed a new right turn lane and bus bay from University Drive (FDOT SR 817) into the future entrance to the Town Center component of the Monterra Development in Cooper City (north of Sheridan Street). The project required the design and construction of two - 9 foot box culverts (approximately 120 LF), the demolition and relocation of +/- 2,000 LF of water main from Davie Utilities and doubled the width of +/- 2,000 LF of the existing Central Broward Water Control District (CBWCD) canal along University Drive. Coordination efforts were conducted with the CBWCD, Town of Davie Engineering, Town of Davie Fire Marshall, Town of Davie Utilities, Cooper City Utilities, Broward County and the Florida Department of Transportation. The project was completed simultaneously with the University Drive Canal Expansion Project. Chen Moore and Associates' services included roadway, drainage, earthwork and utility design; government permitting; conducting publiC bidding for the Monterra Community Development District (CDD); construction observation and closeout services. www.chenmoore.com
