We have done this in several recent projects including our SR A 1 A where <br />we permitted 6 new outfalls to the Intracoastal Waterway. One issue we will coordinate closely is the <br />maintenance of traffic to minimize impacts to the existing residents and businesses. We have on staff <br />several FDOT trained and certified members for the preparation Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Plans. <br /> <br />4. DESIGN/OPINION OF PROBABLE COSTS/SPECIFlCA TION <br /> <br />RJ Behar has prepared designs and construction documents for numerous drainage improvements projects <br />for South Florida municipalities such as: City of Miami Beach, City of Hialeah, City of Miami, City of Fort <br />Lauderdale and Town of Davie. Our Stormwater Department provides the services necessary to complete <br />designs and construction documents, as well as permit services required on this project. <br /> <br />DESIGN PLANS <br /> <br />The preparation of the plans will have a design development portion and a final plans preparation portion. <br />The desiqn development phase is one of the most important phases since it establishes all the criteria, <br />concept and scope of the design. We place a lot of emphasis in this phase since a well defined and agreed <br />concept allows for the following final design phases to proceed on schedule.
